Dozer was heavily damaged during the previous skirmish, and Reya convinced Jshal to splurge for parts to repair them quickly. She promises to fix up some salvage she and Dozer had located before the fight, and true to her word she and Dozer fix up a suit of Combat Armor and a suit of Stealth Gear for the crew.
Jshal makes a further menace of himself around the spaceport to no avail and when he returns the crew mull of their job options, settling on one John secured from Zemke Genetics since it paid the most.
They agree to escort a Zemke Genetics technician to a shuttle crash out on the salt flats to download navigation data from the ship’s computer, hoping it will help them track down a hidden Reactive Sequence facility on the planet. When they arrive they found the site overrun by Vent Crawlers that appeared to have been stored in embryonic cryo in the shuttle, only to rapidly grow and mutate once they were exposed to the planet’s environs.
The crew ambushed the creatures using the planet’s fog cover and was able to get the data and extract safely.
