During a dusk excursion to scout for a potential mission the crew found themselves by a unit of the Black Dragon Mercenaries. Lead by a light mech exosuit, the mercenaries cornered the crew in the ruins of a small outpost. They didn’t expect a near-suicidal charge by Thero and Shadowfang, however. When the mercs opened fire on them the rest of the crew targeted their muzzle flashes and routed the mercs.
Back at The Grotto after a night of celebration Reya and Nisi began talking mechanics, trying to outdo the other with their knowledge while criticizing some of the gravbikes parked outside the bar. When a few of the Riot Vultures confronted them over insulting their rides the duo got in a could cheap shots and fled together. The Vultures decided to make an example of them - if they could find them again.
