< Turn 10

The crew gathers to decide their next step in their crusade against Reactive Sequence and decide they need to find a way to get their proof out that isn’t sending it through corporate watched channels, ultimately deciding to send a wide burst transmission through a hijacked coms satellite.

Jshal pushes to head to Los Xenesh 5, arguing it would be easier to cover their trails operating in a planet in unity designated Red Zone space. The others are less sure the risk is worth it but Jshal insists so a course is set.

For a second time the Hammer of Sisu proves a hazardous transport as Thero winds up caught in a malfunctioning bulkhead door, injuring his leg and breaking his holstered machine pistol. Dozer begins fixing the weapon while Thero gets some basic treatment at sickbay.

While Thero is recovering, Shadowfang explores The Grotto and runs into a local named Ken - the sole survivor of a salvaging operation looking to leave the planet - who offers to share his knowledge and experience with the planet’s geography in exchange for letting him join them when they move on to another system. The crew agrees.

Reya overhears news of a corporate survey ship that was downed by a recent storm and the crew scrambles to the location to try and salvage corporate communication keys that they might be able to use. Just as they arrive a heavily armed corporate security force shows up en force and engages the crew.

The fight initially goes south, but a sudden squall rolls through, drenching the area in a dense heavy rainfall that reduces sight-lines dramatically. With the security force’s superior range and defenses suddenly neutralized the crew is able to close the distance and use their short range specialization to their advantage to drive the CorpSec forces off and retrieve the shuttle’s keys.
